Join us as we cover two important safety topics in one four-hour workshop!

Part 1:  The OSHA Inspector Cometh

If an OSHA inspector arrives at your door, will you be ready?  The goal for any company is to get through the inspection as quickly as possible with a positive outcome.  Although it is never the "right" time for an inspection, there are steps you can take to prepare.  You need to have the following in place:

  • Written safety and health policies
  • Documentation of training and inspections
  • Supervisors who know how to speak to an OSHA inspector
  • A plan for confirming the inspector's identity and conducting him/her through your facility

This part of the workshop will help you develop your plan, prepare documentation, and work towards having a safe and healthy workplace that complies with all regulations.

Part 2:  How to Complete an OSHA 300 Log

In the second half of the workshop, participants will learn about the OSHA 300 Log and how it can be used as a tool for evaluating the overall effectiveness of health and safety programs.  You will learn about reporting requirements and how to:

  • Determine whether an injury or illness should be recorded
  • Fill out the OSHA forms
  • Recognize injury trends and root causes
