Creative and progressive employers are finding unique and effective ways to thrive even during times of economic challenge. As programs designed to help businesses deal with problems, EAPs can provide support and guidance to employers and individuals during difficult economic times. This workshop is an exploration of utilizing resources to get maximum results and borrowing from the wisdom and experience of other employers. We will look at how traditional approaches to managing employee performance can still work as businesses and employees adjust to economic downturn. We will also explore new and creative ways of adapting and modeling resilience in times of change.
Participants will:

- Discuss how various workplaces are coping creatively with RIFS, increased productivity demands, employee morale
- Explore individual and systematic survival skills
- Identify steps to improve the response in their own workplaces to current challenges
