Session 4: Performance Management
Measuring performance is critical to the success of every company. In today’s competitive market, companies must expect each employee to contribute in a meaning way to both the culture and the bottom line. As a supervisor, you are expected to set clear expectations for employees and hold them accountable for the appropriate levels of performance. Feedback is critical to employee empowerment and accountability.
In this session, you will:
- Gain an understanding of the purpose, processes, and benefits of performance management
- Acquire the ability to set specific goals using SMART
- Practice “coaching conversations” using selected examples
- Learn how to document both goals and performance
