Every Oregon employer and Washington employers who have 10 or more employees are required to have a safety committee. A well-run safety committee can improve productivity while reducing injuries and workers' compensation costs - all without hurting your bottom line.

In this session we'll cover:
•     Safety Committee procedures and requirements
•     OSHA-required training for committee members
•     Pitfalls in committee operations
•     Establishing written Safety Programs
•     Common safety problems and their solutions
•     Best Practices for trouble-shooting safety issues

Attendees are encouraged to bring minutes from previous safety committee meetings so they can be discussed, analyzed, and improved.
