Affirmative Action Plans
All federal contractors and subcontractors with (1) 50 or more employees, and (2) federal contracts or subcontracts worth at least $50,000, must develop, implement, and maintain a written affirmative action plan. Affirmative action programs involve rigorous analysis of recruitment, selection, compensation, and other personnel practices to identify ways to enhance employment of minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and certain veterans.
