Professional Services

Legal Counsel

The Association retains the law firm Newcomb, Sabin, Schwartz and Landsverk. Through coordination with UEA staff, member companies are entitled to unlimited telephone advice on employee relations issues. The law firm is available to members for individual consultation on specific legal problems.

Psychological Counsel

The Association retains an organizational psychologist to assist members in areas such as:

• Making key hiring and promotion decisions
• Dealing with specific issues in matters of organization structure and staffing
• Resolving organization conflict situations

Outplacement Services

Career transition is difficult whether by choice or as a result of corporate decisions. Career transition services are available at a reduced rate to member companies.

Employee Assistance Program

Job performance can be affected by an employee’s personal or family problems. As a member of the Association your employees and their dependents gain access to an absolutely confidential counseling and referral service. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered through Employee Assistance Services.
