Coaching for Success

Executive & Leadership Coaching.

Potential business leaders, like successful athletes, partner with a coach in working toward s performance excellence. This powerful relationship enables both individuals and employers to develop to their full professional potential. By taking part in this innovative series, your company will be better able to:

  • Identify and promote potential leaders
  • Promote succession planning
  • Support new managers
  • Gain faster results with less struggle

The program is designed to fit easily into the schedule of a busy executive. Sessions are generally held three times a month for 30-45 minutes, and can be in person or over the telephone. In addition, participants can expect to spend 1 to 2 hours working independently each week. Most participants see significant results in 3-6 months.

UEA works with several local experts who specialize in different areas of leadership development. We can match you with the right coach and create an individualized plan for you.

Dispute Resolution

Conflict occurs naturally when people work closely together. If handled correctly, such situations can actually improve working relationships. However, if left unaddressed, conflicts can increase tension, lower productivity and morale, and erode trust.

UEA’s dispute resolution services will enable your staff to:

  • Analyze work team conflicts
  • Mediate conflict between team members
  • Coach supervisors on effective resolution tactics
  • Improve union/management relations

UEA works with a team of consultants who have experience with all types of workplace conflict. They can help your employees to minimize tension and maximize productivity by resolving conflicts constructively.

Organizational Development*

Organizational Development is a planned, systematic intervention introduced into an organization to increase effectiveness.

Such an intervention often begins with a review of organizational objectives, structure, systems, and managerial competence.

The nature of the intervention depends on the needs of the organization, but might include such things as:

  • Changes to organizational structure
  • Staffing procedures
  • Goal setting
  • Performance appraisal
  • Compensation systems
  • Employee training
  • Team training
  • Coaching for responsible individuals.

UEA professionals have experience in every aspect of the organization development process. If you would like further information on how we can assist you with this process, from executive coaching to group conflict resolution, please call us at 503-595-2095 or e-mail umta@unitedemployers.org.
