Hazard Identification & Management - For Managers and Foremen

Price: $199 for Members, $249 for Non-members

Managers and Foreman are often on the front lines of their company’s accident prevention programs. Understanding the scope of potential hazards and following an established methodology for identifying and correcting hazards is essential to creating a safe work environment.

An effective hazard analysis program can result in fewer worker injuries and illnesses; safer, more effective work methods; reduced workers' compensation costs; and increased worker productivity. The analysis also can be a valuable tool for training new employees in the steps required to perform their jobs safely.

Hazard Analysis programs should assess general workplace safety and facility specific hazards. In addition, unsafe work practices are the leading causes of workplace injuries and should always be included in a workplace hazard inspection.

Attend this workshop to learn:

  • OSHA Standards regarding hazard recognition
  • How to assess hazards present in the workplace
  • How to manage hazards once identified
  • How to assess the level of intensity of a hazard
  • How to address unsafe work practices
