UEA is pleased to offer both in-person and blended learning classes of Medic First Aid Basic Plus training to our members!  This workplace-focused program will teach your employees how to respond in case of a medical emergency and meets the OSHA requirements in Oregon and Washington for employees trained in first aid. Both in-person and blended learning classes are available - please see the description for each specific session, 

This course is ideal for emergency response teams in business and industry, construction workers, adult residential care personnel, and others with a requirement or desire to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving adults. Students will be trained to recognize and provide initial and appropriate care for a wide variety of medical conditions and emergencies.

This workshop conforms to the American Heart Association guidelines and is taught in a relaxed and informal setting with plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice. All classes include AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) training.  Upon successful completion students will be awarded Basic Plus certification valid for 2 years.
